Communication, team, teamwork, creative and constructive problem solving - are topics that children and young people have learned in a series of workshops held as part of the Rischio Minore project. In addition to these topics, Youth for Peace educators talked to young people about social networks, the presence of every person in the online world, the dangers that lurk there, but also the opportunities for learning and the fun they offer. The Rischio Minore project aims to bring together children and young people, giving them the opportunity to gain knowledge of topics they will rarely mention at school or in their home, which are very important for a quality life. Informal learning, learning through interactive exercises and talking in a group with educators and with their peers, encourages participants to discover, reflect, and question, both personal actions and the actions of people in their environment.

In Sarajevo on November 9, 2019 a workshop for children and young people Social Networking - Fun and an Opportunity for Learning was held. During the workshop, participants talked about the role of social networks in the life of a young person, as well as the positive and negative aspects - danger and traps of social media.
Trainers organized practical exercises, where participants worked creatively, observed and analysed Social networks as an extension of every young persons identity, the way other people perceive published content and the opportunities that social networks give.
The Rischio Minore project is implemented by Caritas BiH and Youth for Peace in collaboration with Consorzio Leonardo and is funded by the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region and aims to empower young people without parental care and youth at risk and to strengthen their skills.

On October 9, 2019 a Rischio Minore workshop for children and young people was held in Sarajevo. The participants were divided into two groups: one group talked about the development and strengthening of teamwork and what it takes for teamwork to function. The second group discussed about crisis communication and situations where rapid team response is required. After the workshops were held, the participants took a role of Special Agents in a secret mission.

After Summer camp that has been held and with the ending of summer break and upon the return of children and youth to school, the activities of the Rischio Minore project continued. Until the end of the project in early November 2019, workshops and trainings, as well as Italian language course for children and youth are planned. These activities will allow children and youth to expand their knowledge and experience and make new friends.
In accordance with the planned activities, in Sarajevo, on September 28, 2019 a training for children and youth was held. The main topic of this training was Teamwork and Communication. During the workshop, participants learned through practical exercises and creative work about the importance of teamwork and collaboration. The workshop was provided by trainers and educators of the Youth for Peace association.

A high school camp was held in Sarajevo between 25 – 30 July 2019, attended by 16 young people from different cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The camp was organized as part of the Rischio Minore project, which is being implemented in cooperation with Caritas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Consorzio Leonardo from Italy.
During the camp, young people were learning about topics that were important for their future and further engagement in the civilian sector. Participants had the opportunity to meet the city through tours and by the searching for Sarajevo's most important places. Through interactive and engaging workshops, young people also got to know each other, shared ideas and experiences, and learned about activism and the importance of being involved in civil society.

Mrs. Lejla Hasandedic-Đapo, MA of Psychology and Teaching Assistant of Faculty of Psychology at University of Antalya facilitated a workshop for young people about this topic. The aim of the workshop was to familiarise youth with the phenomenon called burnout. Usually each person is exposed to different kinds of stress and while trying to deal with his/her obligations related with studies or their work, they forget to think about themselves what could have significant consequences on their health. During the workshop participants, young people were taught how to recognize symptoms of burnout in its early stages, as well as how to react if they recognize the more serious ones. They heard about different stages of burnout, a regular, harmless stages toward those which should be treated seriously. Finally, they had the opportunity to do personal introspection through the test which can indicate their relation toward everyday stress and level of burnout. At the end of the workshop, facilitator decided to make support group together with participants in order to provide them place for sharing and opportunity for valuable advices in future. Participants have taken as their responsibility to monitor themselves and react if they notify raising level of burnout.
Sarajevo hosted Rischio Minore partners' study visit on 12th and 13th of March 2019. Partners are from Italy, Consorzio Leonardo and Laboratorio Scuola.

During the 21-27 January, the Winter camp for children and youth "Rischio Minore" was held in cooperation with Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina and Consorzio Leonardo. The camp brought 24 young high school students who had the opportunity to gain new knowledge, enjoy in adventures and have fun. Youth for Peace educators also got the opportunity to teach young and from young people many useful things.
