In Youth for Peace multimedia room within the project Joyful life that Youth for Peace implements with the support of Catholic Relief Services three workshops were held. The workshops were held in the period from December 2019 until February 2020. These workshops gathered participants aged 12 to 16. Young people were working with experienced Youth for Peace trainers, who chose topics that are relevant and can contribute to better and safer growing up of children and youth.
First workshop titled “Culture vs. Addiction” was dedicated to addictions of modern age, like addiction to social media or spending all the free time, consuming hookah. Next workshop was connected to the previous one and was titled “Forgotten childhood games: how do we communicate outside virtual world?”. This workshop was dedicated to communication, especially to listening and the topic was done through the educational and fun games, that were present in the childhood of older generations. On the third workshop “Future of me and BiH”, participants were speaking how they see their future, which high school or faculty they would like to enrol and how do they see their contribution to the society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From 4th to 8th of August 2017, in cooperation with Caritas Italiana, Youth for Peace organized a summer camp for new generation of children and young people, as a part of the project Joyful life. The camp participants were children and youth from Home for children without parental care “Bjelave”, Public institution "Centar za socijalni rad BPK” Goražde, “Mala škola” Vareš, "Dom porodica" Zenica, and children from socially vulnerable families from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The camp was realized in the premises of the Franciscan classical high school in Visoko. The summer camp gathered 30 children who had the opportunity to learn and have fun at the interesting workshops prepared and realized by experienced Youth for Peace educators and volunteers from partner Caritas Pescia.

In the period from 8th to 13th of January 2017, at the hotel "Damis' Pale, a winter camp: „Taking care of myself and others" was held. The camp brought together 27 participants from Home for children without parental care Bjelave, and children from socially vulnerable families from the areas of Sarajevo, Eastern Sarajevo, Kiseljak, Kresevo, Odzak and Prijedor. The main theme of the camp was safety, and in the context of this theme the children had the opportunity to hear about human trafficking, traffic safety, safety on the Internet, about the ways of self-defense and how to react in situations when we are threatened. Participants also had an opportunity to enjoy “School in a different way. Even though the children were on holiday the educator tried to present school and classes in a fun way. To make the camp interesting and fulfilling Youth for Peace trainers also organized an evening program that included games, movie night and a party for the last day of camp.
In the period from 5th to 10th August 2016, Youth for Peace, in collaboration with Caritas Italiana, organized the summer camp of 2016 for children and youth. The camp gathered 30 children and youth along with 10 trainers, at the premises of the Franciscan Classical Gymnasium in Visoko. The participants of the camp were children from 'Home for children without parental care Bjelave', 'Mala škola' from Vareš, and children and youth from Sarajevo and Istočno Sarajevo. This year we were joined by volunteers from our partner, Caritas Pescia. The theme of the camp was 'Under our sky'. The participants had the chance to listen and learn about the beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The emphasis was on the cultural and historical heritage of our country, tourist destinations, diversity and treasures.

Il divertente ed educazionale campo per giovani "il mondo attraverso me, io attraverso il mondo", si è tenuto dal giorno 8 al giorno 13 gennaio 2016 a Napretkov sul monte Trebevic. Il campo fa parte del progetto "La vita felice", organizzato da Youth for Peace in collaborazione con Caritas Italiana.

On Friday, 8th of January, at Napretkov dom, Trebević, started the educational and entertaining winter camp for youth and children, organized by Youth for Peace, with the support of Caritas Italiana. During the camp the participants will have the opportunity to socialize and learn new and important things, through creative and educational workshops.
So far, all the participants have had the chance to talk and get familiar with the topic ‘Children's Rights’ and the fun World of animals. The participants had the opportunity to learn about continents, countries, different cultures and traditions, through creative and interactive workshops, as well as have fun singing and preparing a joint play for everybody.
The camp ends on 13th of January, and in the following days the participants will have the chance to learn about a very important topic, Peer bullying. Follow us and find out which message concerning bullying the children and youth will send.
