From September 30 to October 8, 2019, a youth exchange took place in Bansko, Bulgaria as a next step of the project Entrepreneurial Mindset through Social Innovation in Youth Work (EMSI-YW). 40 young people from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Turkey participated. On behlav of the Youth for Peace organization, participants were Kemal Oračević, Amir Salkić, Renate Dujaković, Lara Sorgenfrei and Berina Bulatović. Young people learned about the concepts of social innovation and entrepreneurship, crowdfunding, and the various tools useful for young people in entrepreneurship, such as photo editing and video editing, and the use of these for promotion and public relations.
The first Training Course of “Entrepreneurial Mindset through Social Innovation in Youth Work” project is underway in Durres, Albania. Youth for Peace delegation is actively participating on it: Anela Zorlak, Dino Hamzić, Mireille Imamovic and Aida Terzić. 9 - days course was very productive. During the training participants had a chance to acquire knowledge, but also to develop skills connected to entrepreneurship, and all that through interactive workshops.

In the period from 22nd to 25th February, the first meeting was held in Pristina, within the Erasmus+ project "Entrepreneurial Mindset through Social Innovation in Youth Work", implemented by NGO THY from Prizren, together with organizations from Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project aims to increase the capacity of organizations in the consortium in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, transfer know-how and work on addressing key issues among youth. The aim of the project is to involve young people and strengthen them by providing skills and competences in social innovations and entrepreneurial education. Over the next year, within this project, international trainings and exchanges will be implemented as well as local seminars, involving more than 1000 young people from partner countries.
On that occasion, Youth for Peace has signed a partnership agreement on this international project as a partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and thus will enable young people from BiH to acquire knowledge and experience across the region.
During this Coordinators’ meeting, project activities schedule was created, partner roles and responsibilities defined as well as media strategy of the project created.
