Third meeting of youth, participants of project „Building peace is my responsibility“, that is implemented in cooperation with Ecumenical Women's Initiative was held in hotel Saraj, Sarajevo on 18th and 19th of August 2018.
During the meeting young people talked about stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination, as well as interreligious dialogue and dialogue in general, which is needed to help us decrease above mentioned phenomena. Workshops that were participant oriented, presented topics through theory, but also contained large number of examples for participants to understand topics in better manner. Beside workshops, young people had opportunity to take a walk through Sarajevo and visit religious sites located in the very city center. In this manner participants could feel and see interreligious dialogue in practice, through the religious sites visit, but also through conversations with religious leaders with whom they discussed about importance of dialogue from the perspectives of Abrahamic religions present in Sarajevo. During this meeting, participants took part in the activity of animating children within pop up event „Peace belongs to everyone“, which was organized by War childhood Museum Sarajevo, where Youth for Peace was one of the implementing partners.
