From 25 to 27 February 2019 in Novi Sad, the project Youth United - YOU! 20 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia had the opportunity to learn something new about lobbying and public advocacy with the aim of improving their environment.
Young people are representatives of 15 different organizations from these three countries working with youth. The training was conducted by Mrs. Milica Nikoletić Rašković and Mr. Vuk Radulović, members of the Novi Sad Foundation 2021 who have great experience in working on projects and initiatives for young people at the local and international level.
During training, these young people had a chance to understand what lobbying and public advocacy really means, the difference between these two concepts, and how to find a problem for lobbying or publicly advocating. Through practical examples from BiH, Slovenia, and Serbia, they were working to identify such processes that the participants themselves found and presented in training.
The main goal of the training was to support the overall project goal in strengthening youth organizations, supporting multiethnic and inter-religious cooperation. This time, Youth for Peace was represented by our member, Berina Bulatović.
