In Sombor, Serbia, between 13-16 October, 2018, a four-day training was held that brought together young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro and is the first in a series of activities within the project "YOUr Past, Present, Future "supported by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office - RYCO.

Participants learned and discussed about the topic of identity, learning about themselves and others, as well as the way others see them, and how certain characteristics can lead to social generalization. Also, an important topic of stereotype, prejudice and discrimination, and hate speech has been processed. Through discussion, interactive learning and examples from everyday life, participants gained new knowledge related to these topics or expanded the existing ones. This module represents the first dice of a complex mosaic of education and training of young people in order to develop their capacities for active participation in society, the fight against ignorance and conformism, and active commitment to building a peace and healthier society in BiH, Serbia and Montenegro.

The first module of training within the project "YOUr Past, Present, Future" was led by youth workers Milica Lugumerski and Ivana Barac. In the following period, this group of young people also expect trainings in Podgorica and Sarajevo, and then they are expected to multiply their knowledge and experience in working with young people in their surroundings.
