From August 16 to 20, 2024, a training on peace education was held in Sarajevo as part of the MOST project, implemented by Youth for Peace and the Sombor Educational Center - SEC, with the support of the Ecumenical Women's Initiative - EWI. The training gathered 10 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. During the first day of the training, participants discussed what peace education is and the specific methods related to this type of education. In the afternoon, a discussion was held with representatives of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office about their peace education programs in the region.
On the second day of the training, with Prof. Dr. Emina Dedić Bukvić, participants thoroughly covered topics in the field of intercultural education, both in content and methodology. On the third day of the training, participants visited religious sites in Sarajevo, and in the afternoon, there was a discussion with war veterans, supported and facilitated by the Association Pravi Požar. On the fourth day, together with the facilitators, the participants reflected on the previous three days and evaluated the entire process they went through.
