Workshop “Youth, prejudices and stereotypes” was held in the rooms of Youth Center in Novi Travnik on April 26th 2016. Workshop was held with the support of religious officials from Novi Travnik, municipality of Novi Travnik, in cooperation with Catechetical office of Archdiocese of Vrhbosna. This workshop is intended for youth aged 16 to 18 years old and it was conducted by experienced trainers from Youth for Peace. Twenty participants had the opportunity to meet each other, talk and discuss about the above mentioned topic, which represents one of the basic problems nowadays.

The goal was to show, through short exercises and discussion, to young people, how stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination are present in our everyday life and our surrounding, to show how it is necessary to cooperate to become aware about it. During the workshop, participants were showing their interest and pleasure because they had the opportunity to participate in the workshop and they showed it with their active participation. Young people had the chance to express their attitudes and share them with their colleagues. Youth for Peace trainers are making preparations for next activities at some new places.
