Workshop on the topic "Youth, prejudices and stereotypes" was held with students of the High school Žepče. In cooperation with the Catechetical office of the Catholic Archdiocese of Vrhbosna and with the help of Branko Radoš, catechists in Žepče, young people gathered and had the opportunity to hear interesting facts about prejudice and stereotypes in our lives. Are we aware of what is happening in us when we communicate with colleagues, friends, or strangers; is it something that we can prevent or we must learn to live with it; when prejudices can help us and how can we use them positively - these are just some of the questions that Youth for Peace trainers talked about with high school students from Žepče. Some questions have the answer, some of them we become aware of, but most of the questions of this complex topic are yet to be answered.
Whole time atmosphere was pleasant and open for the conversation and learning, and the participants together with trainers concluded that one day is short time period to learn about topics they face every day, so in the future they would like to learn more about topics such as this one. A new perspective is presented to young people, a small step has been made; long ride is ahead of us if we want to educate young people and encourage them to be more active in their society.
